Welcome

L’Isle sur la Sorgue is an extremely picturesque town in Provence, situated about 10 miles east of Avignon.  It was formerly a papermaking town and much of its attraction derives from the many waterways which flow throught the town.  The surrounding area is rich in colour from fields of sunflowers and lavender.  Vineyards abound and the wine is just waiting to be sampled.  There is also much of recreational and cultural interest.
